The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the Principality of Andorra formalized diplomatic relations

The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the Principality of Andorra formalized diplomatic relations on 31^st October 2019 through the execution of a Joint Communique.  The Joint Communique was signed on behalf of the Government of The Bahamas by Her Excellency Ms. Sheila Carey, Permanent Representative of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the United Nations (pictured right) and Her Excellency Mrs. Elisenda Vives Balmaña, Permanent Representative of the Principality of Andorra to the United Nations on behalf of the Government of Andorra. The signing ceremony was held at the Permanent Mission of The Bahamas to the United Nations – New York.

The Ministry of Health of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas is aware of false reports in the media relating to an alleged Ebola “high alert" in the country. Please be advised that the Ministry of Health has not issued an alert related to the Ebola Virus Disease.
