The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the Principality of Andorra formalized diplomatic relations on 31st October 2019 through the execution of a Joint Communique. The Joint Communique was signed on behalf of the Government of The Bahamas by Her Excellency Ms. Sheila Carey, Permanent Representative of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the United Nations (pictured right) and Her Excellency Mrs. Elisenda Vives Balmaña, Permanent Representative of the Principality of Andorra to the United Nations on behalf of the Government of Andorra. The signing ceremony was held at the Permanent Mission of The Bahamas to the United Nations – New York.
